IT Engineer (Karachi)
Qualification: Bachelor’s (Preferably Major in Information Technology Networking)
Experience:
- 2 to 3 years in relevant field
- Hands-on experience in technical support of network and computer maintenance, familiar with the operation of the database.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring a stable IT environment.
- Perform maintenance and updates for PCs, UPS, and IT hardware.
- Provide technical support for network and office equipment.
- Assist in IT infrastructure planning and upgrades under supervision.
- Manage software versions (Windows, MS Office, Email, Outlook).
- Lead daily IT tasks and perform bi-monthly email data backups.
- Install, maintain, and repair IT office equipment.
- Analyze and resolve system and network issues, implementing preventive measures.
- Maintain the IMEI database for scrap and EOL models in MES.
- Confirm assembly and packing work orders.
- Handle MES exceptions and related work time processes.
- Support CCTV installation and IP configuration for the security department.
- Obtain quotes from vendors for IT equipment and manage department requisitions.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by superiors.
