Title: Procurement & Marketing Officer

Location: Khanewal

Job Summary:

The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the inventory of supplies, equipment, and services necessary for the efficient operation of warehouses, farms, and livestock facilities. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of quality products to support the agricultural and livestock activities. The Procurement Officer will work closely with the Farm Manager, Livestock Manager, and other key stakeholders to maintain optimal stock levels and cost efficiency. Knowledge of PAPRA rules preferred.

Qualification and Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role, preferably within the agricultural or livestock industry. Experience with inventory management systems and procurement software is highly desirable.
Skills and Abilities: Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify and address procurement challenges. Knowledge of procurement best practices, supply chain management, and inventory control. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and demands.

Additional Requirements: Familiarity with agricultural and livestock products, equipment, and services. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and procurement software. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed to meet with suppliers and inspect goods. PAPRA rules preferred.
