Job Description:
- Develop and implement short and long term plans to ensure that the factory has has necessary resources to meet business objectives
- Monitor and control the factory budget to ensure all financial and business objectives are met
- Direct and control all factory staff to ensure they are properly motivated, trained and developed and carry out their responsibilities to the required standards
- To execute health, safety and environment standards.
- Organize all production to ensure that output and quality targets are achieved
- Inspecting the quality of finished products to check on machine and operator efficiency
- Delegating machine operation, quality control, and maintenance tasks to factory employees
- Analyzing production data and making strategic recommendations to decision makers
- Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions
- Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
- Determining quality control standards
- Overseeing production processes
- Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
- Selecting, ordering and purchasing materials
- Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
- Oversee the production process, drawing up a production schedule
- Ensure that the production is cost effective
