Pakistan Microfinance Investment Company Jobs Head of Internal Audit: The Head of Internal Audit is responsible for rendering an independent, objective evaluation of effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes and to make improvements where necessary. The Head of Internal Audit is expected to make substantial contributions to the strategy and leadership of the organization.

Qualification: Masters Degree in Finance and Accounting, ACCA or Chartered Accountant Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or other auditing certifications

Experience: 8 Years – 10 Years of professional experience with at-least 3-4 years in a supervisory role Hands on experience in Financial Institutes (Microfinance Sector / Insurance Sector/ Investment Groups) Experience with renowned Auditing Firms is an added advantage.

Key Areas of Responsibility: The Head of Internal Audit is responsible for preparing and implementing a risk-based audit plan to assess, report on, and make suggestions for improving the company’s key operational and finance activities and internal controls. Additionally, the position is responsible for identifying and assisting in documenting existing internal finance and disclosure controls, implementing and documenting new internal controls, and establishing an internal monitoring function to audit the company’s compliance with such internal controls. Build and maintain effective processes, controls and working relationships with managers and employees as appropriate. Maintains all organizational and professional ethical standards and ensures audit activities are carried out in compliance with statutory requirements. Maintain an effective and appropriate audit framework and methodology.
