Position: Project Trainee

Location: Karachi

Job Summary:ย The Project Trainee will assume a significant role in our companyโ€™s field operations, providing support and supervision to the farm managers & Farmers. This position is responsible for various field-related tasks that contribute to the achievement of project goals and organizational objectives.





Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain continuous communication and collaboration with farm managers to manage & plan harvest scheduling
  • Supervise quality check at farm level & take corrective measures.
  • Perform GRN physically on all the designated locations according to the visit plan shared by Agri manager NFL
  • Supervise all the purchase activities, cross verify the weight & quality of the produce on Daily basis.
  • Collect data from farmers, review and share it with NFL.
  • Engage with stakeholders on-site and ensure the continuous exchange of information.
  • Acquire market knowledge and share information related to value chains, specifically tomatoes.
  • Must have ability to manage stakeholders on ground.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a bachelorโ€™s degree in agriculture, with a preference for candidates holding a masterโ€™s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to use relevant software tools and equipment, particularly in field data collection and field marking.
  • Be prepared to travel and work in remote or challenging environments as required.
  • Must have ability to check on field officers both in terms of financial & operational responsibilities

Position: Manager Taxation

Job Purpose: Assist Head of Financial Control to manage tax function in accordance with the organizationโ€™s policies and procedures

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with tax consultant for response to tax notices.
  • Responsible to legally minimize tax liabilities through informed application of tax laws and regulations
  • Remain up-to-date on the latest tax and accounting laws, regulations, codes and theories to ensure that the company remains fully compliant.
  • Prepare tax calculations, estimates and reports accruals and partnering with other departments to provide guidance / support on tax aspects
  • Ensure tax compliance, reporting, and filing works for the Group.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all corporate and GST returns for local company and international subsidiaries.
  • Liaise with tax authorities and provide tax audit support to consultant.
  • Assist in managing external tax authorities and consultants locally and internationally.
  • Prepare current and deferred tax provision.
  • Assist in providing internal tax advisory services and support on business operation matters to the Group
  • Coordinate ad-hoc tax-driven business initiatives locally or internationally.
  • Assist in tax planning, tax saving and tax preparation services and strategies as needed or when the opportunity becomes available.
  • Any other task assigned by the seniors.

Background Requirements:

  • Education:ย Minimum Mastersโ€™ in Finance / CA / ACMA / ACCA
  • Experience:ย 5-8ย years of experience in corporate taxation (Local and international both).

Skill Requirements:

  • Technically strong with solid knowledge and experience in Pakistan corporate tax compliance, Income Tax and GST.
  • Knowledge of International taxation laws and regulations (specially Canada, UK and UAE) and double tax treaties.
  • Working knowledge of SAP to enable data extract and reconciliation.
  • Advanced Excel
  • Local and international Tax Planning
  • Ensure all Income Tax and Sales Tax compliances.
  • Experience dealing with Tax consultant/lawyers and Tax department.
  • Reasonable knowledge of Customs laws including transfer pricing
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation abilities.
  • Possess good business acumen and highly adaptive.
  • Independent worker who can work well with minimal supervision.
  • Fast worker with ability to work well under stress.
  • Must maintain confidentiality and discretion in all aspects and be comfortable with flexible working schedule to meet the needs of the Company and its executives.

Position: Zonal Sales Manager

Location: Mardan

Job Purpose: To execute sales plans for assigned zones, within the context of the overall corporate plan

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with the sales team, supply chain business partner and distributors to develop a process to manage trade stock freshness. Ensure compliance of the process, identify resources required and highlight deviations.
  • Collaborate with supply chain business partners to educate distributors on FIFO management. Highlighting slow moving stock to manage trade expiries. Liaise with CALs to develop liquidation plans for slow moving stock.
  • Collate Sales Returns data entered into Crystal. Analyse sales returns data monthly and share action points with regional as well national leadership teams.
  • Ensure Sales Returns Policy is updated, communicated and followed by the sales team.
  • Articulate and present monthly root cause analysis for Sales Returns providing recommendations for improvement.

Experience Required: 4-7 years of relevant experience

Position: Learning & Development Specialist

Drive and implement the learning and development strategy of National Foods by designing, developing and executing learning and development tools, interventions and experiences that enhance employee skills, foster continuous development, and promote a culture of learning in the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify skill gaps and learning needs through various competency assessments and performance evaluations.
  • Develop comprehensive training programs tailored to address identified needs, utilizing various instructional design methodologies.
  • Identify and partner with external learning partners or consultants when specialized expertise is required.
  • Curate a diverse range of learning materials, including playbooks, manuals, videos, e-learning modules, and other resources relevant to the organizationโ€™s learning and development objectives.
  • Organize and facilitate workshops and seminars to ensure effective knowledge transfer and skill development.

Position: Assistant Brand Manager โ€“ Sauces & Dips

Location: Karachi

Job Purpose: To assist the Brand Manager/Senior Brand Manager in the implementation of a marketing strategy for one or more of the organisationโ€™s products to meet established sales or market share targets.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform a range of activities to effectively market assigned products/services, such as identifying market research; overseeing product development and design; launching new products; overseeing advertising campaigns; and monitoring sales performance.
  • Collect, compile, verify, and analyse data on product performance and customer feedback to identify product/service features that need to be changed to meet customer needs.
  • Develop knowledge of the organisationโ€™s products, services, and customers by working closely with more experienced brand/product managers.
  • Liaise with advertising and promotions specialists to design sales campaigns and sales collateral for the product/service that are effective and appropriate for the target audience.
  • Monitor, analyse, and evaluate domestic market trends, consumer behaviour and competitor activity in co-ordination with sales and trade marketing to identify market opportunities for the product/service.
  • Monitor, analyse, and evaluate product performance and customer feedback to generate new product ideas, identify product/service features that need to be changed to meet customer needs, and liaise with other areas of the organisation (for example production, sales, trade marketing, research and development) to implement these changes.
  • Prepare activity plans/calendars; monitor sales volume, revenues against forecasts; and adapt plans to improve the sales performance of the product/service.
  • Define advertising objectives, discuss choice of media, and allocate internal and external resources so that campaigns are effective, economical, and appropriate for their intended audience.
  • Liaise with managers in sales, trade marketing, and activations to develop campaigns that will help achieve market share targets.
  • Select, and manage ongoing relationships with, external vendors (for example printers, graphic designers).
