- Plan and allocate space by considering freight turnover, size, weight, and other factors for proper staging and kitting of materials in the warehouse, sheds and yards.
- Plan, organize and direct warehousing related administrative services such as signage, cleaning, installations, maintenance, repair, safety inspections, parking, and housekeeping. Ensure planned inspection of warehouse, yards, chemical sheds, and cold rooms; prepare reports, statistics related to the warehouse operations area of responsibility, and operations.
- Implement and monitor performance metrics for shipping and returning materials to support shipping of materials from one site to other, to vendor or repair facilities. Ensure to reconcile leftover/surplus materials with contractors as per the drawing specification and receive back the excess/unused materials as per procedure
- Ensure HSE compliance in all warehouse activities, Monitor stacking of hazardous materials as per their compatibility and MSDS instruction, Prepare loading/offloading plans & TRAs to mitigate all kind of risks.
Requirements
Education:Â Graduate / BSc / B.com, Diploma in Mechanical
