SITUATION VACANT: The Balochistan Government has set up Medical Emergency Response Centers (MERC) to provide emergency healthcare through certified and trained Emergency Medical Technicians and Medical Doctors 24/7. The Health Department Government of Balochistan intends to operationalize the accident and emergency centers of Balochistan. Therefore, the MERC Project invites applications from qualified and experienced individuals for the following positions, purely on a contract basis.

General Surgeon (BPS-18)

• No. of Posts: 2 (Trauma Center Khuzdar: 1, Trauma Center Zhob: 1)
• Package: 500,000
• Qualification / Experience: MBBS or equivalent Medical Qualification recognized by PMDC with FCPS/MS/FRCS/MRCS or any other equivalent Medical Qualification recognized by PMDC. Requires 3 years of practical experience in the respective specialty in a recognized institution after post-graduation.

Neuro Surgeon (BPS-18)

• No. of Posts: 2 (Trauma Center Khuzdar: 1, Trauma Center Zhob: 1)
• Package: 500,000
• Qualification / Experience: MBBS or equivalent Medical Qualification recognized by PMDC with FCPS/MS/FRCS/MRCS or any other equivalent Medical Qualification recognized by PMDC. Requires 3 years of practical experience in the respective specialty in a recognized institution after post-graduation.

Orthopedics Surgeon (BPS-18)

• No. of Posts: 2 (Trauma Center Khuzdar: 1, Trauma Center Zhob: 1)
• Package: 500,000
• Qualification / Experience: MBBS or equivalent Medical Qualification recognized by PMDC with FCPS/MS/FRCS/MRCS or any other equivalent Medical Qualification recognized by PMDC. Requires 3 years of practical experience in the respective specialty in a recognized institution after post-graduation.

Radiologist (BPS-18)

• No. of Posts: 2 (Trauma Center Khuzdar: 1, Trauma Center Zhob: 1)
• Package: 500,000 (FCPS); 350,000 (MCPS/DMRD)
• Qualification / Experience: MBBS or equivalent Medical Qualification recognized by PMDC with FCPS or any other equivalent Medical Qualification recognized by PMDC. Requires 3 years of practical experience in the respective specialty in a recognized institution after post-graduation. Alternatively, MBBS with DMRD/MCPS recognized by PMDC with 5 years of practical experience in the respective specialty in a recognized institution after post-graduation.

Terms and Conditions:

• Candidates from all over Pakistan and Azad Kashmir can apply for the above-mentioned vacant positions.
• All positions will be filled purely on a contract basis.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview.
• MERC Balochistan reserves the right to withdraw, postpone, or increase/reduce the number of vacant positions mentioned in the advertisement.
• Note: Two additional Basic Pay will be awarded to those who are currently serving with the Government and are interested in being posted in the said Accident and Emergency Centers.
