POSITION: BI & Reports Developer

QUALIFICATION: HEC recognized Computer Science degree

GRADE: OG-II / OG-III

CITY: Lahore

POSITION SUMMARY:

MCB Islamic Bank is looking for Officer BI & Reports Developer. The responsibilities of this position will develop, bug fix and add new features to the existing OBI reports.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver on goals as per departmental strategy and targets
Prioritize and execute tasks throughout the software development life cycle
Write well-designed, efficient code
Review, test and debug self and team members’ code
Design database architecture
Document development phases
Deliver according to agreed SLAs & KPIs with stakeholders
Identify and implement process improvement initiative including standardization of process

SELECTION CRITERIA:

2-5 years of relevant experience with BI Tool(s), ETL Processes, Web Services SOAP, XML and supporting integration and enabling access via API calls
Strong experience in SQL/TSQL/PLSQL, ETL, OLAP, Data Analysis, Data Integration, Python,
Database skills – preferably Oracle, MSSQL Server, MySQL
Strong problem- solving skills along with the ability to work independently, highly motivated with strong self-learning abilities.
Ability to read and understand a large and complex existing code-base, as well as investigate logs of complex cases.
Able to work equally well independently and as part of a team
Excellent oral and written communication skills
