We are looking for a detail-oriented Assistant Manager / Senior Officer – Procurement to support our procurement operations related to packaging materials. This role involves material planning, supplier coordination, order tracking, and contributing to new product development while ensuring cost efficiency and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
-Assist the Manager Procurement in developing a consistent and strategic sourcing approach.
-Plan and order materials based on Master Production Schedule (MPS).
-Support in preparing RFPs, evaluating vendors, and participating in negotiations.
-Monitor inventory levels and analyze actual vs. planned production.
-Participate in new product development and ensure timely material sourcing.
-Track purchase orders and update dispatch plans accordingly.
-Identify new vendors to promote competition and enhance supply reliability.
-Ensure timely procurement of quality goods at the best market price.
-Build and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, timely deliveries, and cost efficiency.
-Monitor and evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with agreements.
Skills:
-Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
-Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
-Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work independently and under pressure
