Description:
- Work with departmental Leads to identify and agree on GPS implementation to deliver high priority departmental IPT strategies in alignment with Site strategy.
- Drive t departmental level the strategy process.
- Support continuous improvement capability development of self and others, developed by the GPS Core team.
- Support/ deliver the required training
- Coach departmental teams to develop and sustain continuous improvement mindset
- Lead day to day GPS use for site/departmental priorities and initiatives and track progress of the teams and business impact on safety, quality, cost, people and innovation.
- Actively role modeling GPS skills and behaviors
- Support/ensure consistency of progress and deployment and share lesson learned cards with the site teams.
- Provide expert advice to departmental heads in taking key decisions based on effective analysis using GPS basics/ lean tools
- Support GPS lead and finance team to effectively conduct the site GPS and financial council.
- Use bench marking and best practices from GPS network and beyond to make site processes more efficient and lean.
- Work to deliver site/ departmental savings target and deliver key waste elimination programs.
