POSITION: RISK ENGINEERING PROFESSIONAL – KARACHI, HEAD OFFICE
EFU General Insurance Limited is seeking a dedicated and results-driven Risk Engineering Professional to join its Karachi, Head office. This is an excellent opportunity to work with one of Pakistan’s leading insurance company and contribute to strengthening its risk assessment and loss prevention capabilities.
Job Role:
- Identify potential risks, assess exposures, and develop plans to prevent and mitigate losses
- Design, implement, and monitor effective risk management controls and systems
- Apply in-depth knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and control measures
- Analyze technical data and prepare professional risk evaluation reports
- Conduct research and utilize analytical tools/software to support risk evaluations
- Deliver clear and effective communication through presentations and written reports
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Minimum B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Textile Engineering from an HEC-recognized university
- Experience: Minimum three years of experience in risk assessment and control
- Certification: Professional Risk Manager (PRM) certification is preferable
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Sound knowledge of risk assessment techniques and tools
- Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills
- Proficiency in research and the use of analytical software
- Self-motivated, perceptive, and methodical
