Job Title: Ocean Freight Officer
Department: Ocean Freight
Location: Karachi, Pakistan
Overview: We are seeking an incumbent who will be responsible to handle day-to-day shipments & operational activities of Ocean Freight in most efficient, smooth and productive manner to meet KPIs, service deliverables & customer expectation.
Experience: Preferably 1-2 years of import & export operational experience at freight forwarding or shipping line.
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/qualification in relevant field.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide complete and accurate information to customers in timely manner.
- Ensure that details in the documents are complete, accurate and released on time.
- Establish professional relationship with customers to ensure repeat business and long-term partnership.
- Releasing customer in 15 minutes with correct and complete documents.
- Handling aggravated and annoyed customers, and bridging the communication gap.
- Releasing of BLs, FCRs, receipt, DOs, endorsements, updating ESP, timestamp etc.
