Position: Manager Record to Report (RTR)

Overview: We are seeking applications for the position of “Manager Record to Report (RTR)”. The incumbent will be responsible for handling and managing statutory financial reporting, external audit, and management reporting (Tax, treasury, Group CREST etc) as per the Global operating model and timelines.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for monthly Regional and Group CREST reporting (DHL Group), monthly Balance Sheet Scheduling and month end closing for all RTR task as per the Global Operating Model & Timelines
• Responsible for ICON Assessments (Internal Controls)
• Co-ordination with Shared Service Center RTR and provide approvals for Journals entries as per RTR Approval matrix
• Responsible for monitoring the treasury reporting team including daily cash management & cash flow forecasting to maintain liquidity for the company’s investment and payment purpose.
• Dealing / liaison with bankers and the Corporate Treasury department for all financial matters
• Responsible for dealing with external/statutory auditors, preparing statutory financial statements with notes as per the IFRS guideline and Local GAAP
• Responsible for insurance risk management and timely renewal of policies
• Responsible for Group and local taxation matters and Regional Office Tax reporting including filing of statutory income tax and sales tax returns
• Dealing with tax consultants and responsible for managing tax assessments and audits
• Monitoring of Regional and Group services agreement

Experience:

• 5-6 years of experience in Finance, Accounts and Auditing.

Qualification:

• Preferably CA (finalist) / ICMA / ACCA
• Working experience of Chartered Accountancy firm will be preferred.

Position: Assistant Manager Business Development

Overview: We are seeking an incumbent who will be responsible to develop and execute business development in order to improve DHL’s attainment of business. Ensure detailed study and understanding of customers’ shipping requirements in order to provide highly customized services, encompassing logistics and distribution services, to specifically identified customers.

Major Expertise: Sales and business expertise of Ocean Freight domain.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong professional relationship with customers by ensuring highest level of customer’s satisfaction continuously.
• Timely customer complaint redressal and enquiry response.
• Management and retention of defined customer portfolio.
• Develop and execute sales plan/strategy/activities to achieve target budgets.
• Negotiate with customers on contractual terms of service provision that is aligned to corporate sales policy and procedures.
• Responsible for delivery of high-quality presentation of the entire range of standardized products and services to potential customers.
• Actively plan, prepare and realize sales calls for better customer retention and new business acquisition.
• Secure/collect all necessary information to assess credit worthiness of potential customers.
• Conduct surveys and market intelligence gathering to assess, target the potential business prospects and review competitor behavior.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree is preferred in relevant field.
• Minimum 4-6 years of working experience in field sales at freight forwarding.
• Broad understanding of trade lane specifics in the forwarding industry and deep knowledge of Ocean freight, and logistics business models.
• Capability to deliver presentations and highly effective in conducting sales negotiations.
• Must have proven sales record.
• Must have excellent communication, management and interpersonal skills.
• Command over Microsoft Office and other related software.
