Head of Private Label — (Daraz. Karachi)
Job role requirement:
• Develop yearly merchandising plans, strategies, budgets, sales targets and ROI projections for private/white label brands
• Develop a quarterly fashion trend report for entire fashion – Women’s, Men’s and Kids.
• Diversify assortment by developing white and private label that includes shortlisting and sampling of products
• Travel locally (or internationally) if required for the sourcing purpose
• Develop pnvate/white label brands identity with the help of the fashion project team on designs and style
• Prepare a database for local and international manufacturers and distributors, identifying key vendors with reasoning
• Conduct negotiations and production processes with vendors/third parties
• Establish strong working relationships with key vendors
• Analyze and optimize the performance of the private label brands and also share progress reports with teams
Skill set requirement:
• Strong sense of fashion, trends, designs, patterns and cuts
• Must have knowledge of prints and fabrics
• Must have (or gain) knowledge about the availability of items, fabrics and price points in the locaVintemational markets • Previous work experience in the fashion industry and private label
• Needs to have both qualities of working as a leader as well as a team member
• Must be detailed oriented, organized and have the ability to execute within tight deadlines
• Strong negotiation skills
