We are hiring for Deputy Manager – IT
Masters with 12 Years / Bachelors with 15 years of experience
(Karachi Based Position)
Key Responsibilities:
a. In-charge of keeping the Datacenter live on a 24/7 basis.
b. Responsible to ensure that Servers Networks infrastructure.
c. Responsible for keeping servers safe from intrusions, virus and security worms.
d. Make sure the timely completion of system state backups.
e. Monitor Systems, Applications and Hardware logs for SAN and Servers.
f. Ensure that servers and applications are backed up in a timely manner.
g. Installing and configuring network equipment & Firewalls to update or fix hardware or software issues
h. Troubleshooting of common hardware and network issues, software and workstation operating system.
i. Install workstations, connect and set up hardware and install software as required while providing backup in the meanwhile to insure continuity of services.
j. Insure the smooth operations of IT services and installed systems in all locations/departments where IT related services and systems are running.
k. Provide workstation and network accounts and passwords as required.
l. Document all type of troubleshooting (Maintain Logs).
m. Support and train users in the use of existing hardware and software as well as use of the local area network and appropriate network connected equipment.
n. Receive, log and track all calls from users related to network, printing and PC/Laptop issues.
o. Organize and maintain various IT files.
p. Participate in the research and evaluation of new technology.
q. Manage multiple concurrent tasks.
r. Work independently or in a group to accomplish a task.
s. To adopt and carryout all objectives and plans provided by deputy manager infrastructure.
