IRD MANAGER (FOOD INDUSTRY)
Location: KARACHI
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative IRD Manager to lead our product development initiatives in the food industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new food products, improving existing formulations, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of new food products from concept to commercialization.
- Improve existing products in terms of taste, quality, shelf life, and cost efficiency.
- Research market trends, consumer preferences, and new ingredients.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and marketing teams.
- Manage product trials, sensory evaluations, and documentation.
- Oversee lab operations and IRD team performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.
- 8-12 years of experience in IRD within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, ISO, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in product innovation and recipe formulation.
- Knowledge of local and international food regulations.
- Strong communication and team management abilities.
