𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿 – 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁
We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Footwear Category Manager to establish and grow our footwear business. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end category management, including market research, product development, local and international sourcing, vendor management, costing, quality compliance, inventory planning, and commercial performance of the footwear category.
𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management
𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲:- 5–8 years of experience in footwear sourcing, category management, product development, merchandising, or procurement.
- Experience working with local and international footwear suppliers and manufacturers.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:
- Develop and manage the footwear category from sourcing to market launch.
- Source footwear products and manufacturers locally and internationally.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships.
- Negotiate pricing, quality standards, and delivery terms with vendors.
- Coordinate with merchandising, planning, supply chain, and retail teams.
- Monitor product costing, inventory levels, and category profitability.
- Conduct market research and identify new product opportunities.
- Ensure timely product availability and compliance with quality standards.
- Analyze sales performance and recommend category improvements.
