JOB VACANCY: Quaid-e-Azam Solar Power (Pvt.) Ltd (QA Solar), wholly owned by the Government of Punjab, has installed the first ever 100 MW Solar PV Plant in the province of Punjab. We require services of professionally sound candidates for the following position:
General Manager Plant: A seasoned GM Plant to look after and manage the country’s first 100 MW Solar Power Plant located at Lal Suhanra, Bahawalpur. This position performs a wide range of supervisory and administrative activities and will direct plant personnel in the daily performance of various operations and maintenance functions in accordance with policies, goals and objectives established by the Chief Executive Officer.
He shall be having excellent motivational skills & thorough understanding of renewable energy and power generation sector of Pakistan.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from HEC Recognized University. At least 10 years post qualification relevant experience in power sector including at least 3 years in a senior management position at a public or private sector company. Renewable energy experience would be preferred. The candidate should be registered with PEC. He should be familiar with all applicable software. Master degree in relevant field will be preferred.
Location: Site Office – Bahawalpur.
