Position: Structural Engineer
Job details:
The candidate must have the following:
- Minimum 5 to 7 yrs. plus relevant experience
- Master/Bachelor from a reputable university
- Solar Energy industry experience will be a plus.
- Willing to join immediately
JD’s:
- Responsible for the design and R&D of new and existing PV mounting structures and dealing with inquiries of the presales team as well as project execution.
- Design structures and verify the structural models by using computer-aided design software like SAP2000, ETABS, and AutoCAD.
- Coordination with team and draftsmen to produce structural drawings as per
- standard documentation protocols.
- Choose appropriate materials based on structural application, site, and budget specifications.
- Loads calculations based on standards (ASCE 7-16, MBMA 2006, ACI 318)
- caused by environmental or human influence and construction safety guidelines.
- Provide technical advice on project feasibility and obtain critical approvals from clients and regulators.
- Collaborate and liaison with contractors and project managers to ensure the site-specific design and delivery with cost-effective solutions.
- Monitor and inspect all structural work undertaken by contractors to ensure
- structural soundness and quality.
- Site survey of critical sites for customized structural requirements and debottlenecking any structural query.
