Section Supervisor Sub D supervises Sub-D sales operations. He is responsible to train, coach and develop his Sub-Distributors. He has to develop company’s business and manage daily sales by efficiently implementing Sub-D guiding principles. He also has to ensure smooth day to day sales operation to achieve monthly targets which are in line with company’s objectives. He is responsible to hire and finalize Sub Distributors, he has to build long term relationships with his Sub-Distributors and give them maximum desirable customer service.

Job Information

Ensure target deployment through Sub-Distributors and analyse target achievement on a daily basis.
Ensure sales fundamentals are rightly implemented in stores (Distribution, Pricing, Shelving and Merchandising)
Analyse sales figures/data to assign opportunities with clear next steps to properly support sales targets/achievements.
Monitor and track all KPIs ( volume, distribution, coverage, visibility & productivity)
Look after order planning for Sub-Ds
Report emerging issues and take corrective actions in a timely manner

Job Purpose:

To manage and control selling volume, distribution, merchandising, shelving, and pricing across multiple brands and categories of the section under responsibility according to company strategies, by signing contracts with customers, tracking their financial transactions and developing strong and positive working relationships with them

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Supervise the day-to-day operations of the section to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed
Implement sales (in-store) fundamentals to ensure core distribution availability, contracted visibility and shelving shares, and suggest retail pricing
Develop and issue suggested orders to customers according to their stocks and movement to ensure no out of stocks or overstocks
Develop and present conceptual presentations and tools to propose the company’s different offerings to its customer
Manage allocated budgets and customer dues to guarantee accounts’ fair share distribution without exceeding allocation
Train, coach and monitor the merchandisers on daily basis
Develop and maintain strong and positive working relationships with customers
Assist in the preparation of the section’s budget
Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures in the section
