Site Name: Pakistan – Sindh – Karachi
This role would be a 3-6 month Project Traineeship where in incumbent would be assisting with the following:
Provident Funds
- Maintaining accounts, general ledger and members accounts of retirement benefits funds and ensuring their audit
- Calculation and payment of monthly provident fund contribution into fund accounts
- Processing of PF loan application and responding to employees queries
- With reference to final settlements, ensure that PF balance calculations are done timely and accurately
- Provide disclosure for annual and quarterly accounts
- Preparing PF certificates of employees
- Preparing liquidity requirement of funds and executing investment advisor advises
Gratuity Funds
- Liaise with actuary for yearly valuation of funds in accordance with IAS 19
- Disclosure in UNISON and statutory accounts as per actuarial valuation report
- Ensuring that the accounting of the funds and their audit is current and up to date
- With reference to final settlements, ensure that gratuity calculations are done timely and accurately
- Provide Gratuity rate to KPMG at the start of the year for monthly provision as per actuary calculation.
- Provide disclosures for quarterly reporting as well as for the annual report.
- Review and Control of schedules according to monthly movement in accounting system
- Facilitate employees of both company with their retirement benefits funds and calculation
- Proper book keeping of fund records.
- Preparing liquidity requirement of funds and executing investment advisor advises
- MBA, BBA Finance or CFA qualified
- Good Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Knowledge of applicable local, state and federal rules and laws
- strong financial acumen
- Clean and logical thinking
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office
- Good communication skills
