The Institute of Business Administration Jobs IBA 22 July 2016 CAREER OPPORTUNITIES:Â The Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi, South Asia’s premier business school seeks the services of energetic, dedicated and result oriented technical individuals for the following position in its newly established Center for Excellence in Journalism (CEJ).
Technology Officer — (1 – Position): Apply
The incumbent will supervise the overall technical operational activities including broadcast studio and production control room management/maintenance, switching equipment, telephone hybrid, audio and video recording equipment, troubleshooting etc. S/he will supervise broadcast technology training and support students, technology staff requiring familiarization in the use of technology. Prepare input for the annual technology and equipment budget request. Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies. Ability to exercise independent judgment and make decisions on difficult and complex problems.
Requirements:
• Minimum 4 years of working experience with strong working knowledge of television broadcast
• Additional technical certifications will be preferred
• Experienced in handling studio equipment is a must. Coordinating installation and maintaining the studio’s equipment and helping with production process
• Experience with startup/early stage companies
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written
• Knowledge of non-liner editing, digital and print media will be an added advantage
Assistant Technology Officer — (3 – Positions) Apply
The incumbent will work closely with the Technology Officer and assist him in technical operational activities including maintenance of studio/PCR equipment, switching equipment, sound mixer, graphics, telephone hybrid, ENG kits, troubleshooting etc.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of working experience of audio & video production
• Additional technical certifications will be preferred
• Experienced in handling and maintaining studio and production control room equipment’s
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written
• Knowledge of non-liner editing, adobe creative cloud (e. g Photoshop, Illustrator etc.) will be an added advantage
