The Special Branch, Punjab, invites applications from qualified and experienced individuals domiciled in Punjab for various contract-based positions (Non-Transferable) for Project “Construction of Advance Analytics, Automation & Artificial Intelligence, (CA4I), of Special Branch, Punjab”. The details are as under:

1 .Software Architect Expert

No. of Post: (01 No.)

Per Month Salary (Upto PKRs): PKRs. 425,000/-

Qualification:
Minimum of sixteen (16) years of education in Computer Science, Software, Computer Engineering or related field from a foreign institution will be preferred.

Age: 25 – 45 Years

Professional work/Experience:

Minimum of five (05) years of professional experience as a Senior Software Engineer, with demonstrated expertise in software development, scripting, and project management within complex technical environments.
Strong command on programming languages and frameworks, including Python, PHP, Node.js, React.js, and the Java/J2EE platform, with hands-on experience in both front-end and back-end development.
Practical experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB), along with the use of system monitoring tools and automated testing frameworks.
Proven experience working across multiple operating systems (Linux, macOS, and Windows) and delivering solutions using Agile/Scrum development methodologies while collaborating with and managing cross-functional technical teams.
Preference will be given to candidates having prior relevant experience working with or for a law enforcement agency or similar public sector organization.

2.Social Media Expert (01 No.)

Minimum of sixteen (16) years of education in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field from a well reputed University.
25 – 50 years

Professional work/Experience:

Possess five (05) years of progressive professional experience in IT, social media analytics, and computer science-driven research and Operations.
Preference will be given to candidates with cyber security certification.
Preference will be given to candidates with social media forensics related certification.
Demonstrated expertise in managing, analyzing, and interpreting digital and social media data using modern analytical and AI-enabled tools.
Proven experience supporting intelligence, research, and decision-making functions through technology-driven insights and data analysis.
Demonstrated expertise in monitoring, collecting, analyzing, and interpreting social media and digital data using modern analytical, visualization, and automated tools.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital trends, audience behavior, content analysis, and social media metrics.
Experience in applying data-driven techniques to identify patterns, trends, emerging issues, and actionable insights from large volumes of digital and social media data.
Proven ability to support research, intelligence analysis, situational assessment, and decision making through technology.
Preference will be given to candidates holding relevant Cybersecurity, digital forensics, or social media forensics certifications.
Knowledge of OSINT methodologies, digital investigation techniques, data visualization, and analytical tools will be an advantage.
Strong analytical, research, communication, and report-writing skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary team environments while maintaining data security, confidentiality, and professional standards.
Experience of working with law enforcement agency will be given preference.

3.Data Scientist (01 No.)
Upto PKR. 425,000/-
Minimum of sixteen (16) years of education in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
25 – 50 years

Professional work/Experience:

Minimum of three (03) years of experience in data engineering, data integration, data pipeline development, or a related field.
Hands-on experience in developing, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, data integration workflows, and automated data processing solutions.
Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, data modelling, data warehousing, and handling structured and semi-structured data.
Experience with SQL and Python for data processing, transformation, analysis, automation.
Understanding of data quality, validation, security, confidentiality, and governance principles.
Ability to integrate data from multiple sources and prepare reliable datasets for analytics, reporting, and operational applications.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, data processing frameworks, workflow orchestration tools, or business intelligence platforms will be an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

4.UI / UX Researcher/Designer (01 No.)
Upto PKR. 300,000/-
Minimum of sixteen (16) years of education in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field from a well-reputed University.
25 – 50 years

Professional work/Experience:

• Minimum of three (03) years of experience in UI/UX developer or similar role.
• Must possess a portfolio of design projects.
• Must possess knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc, etc.).
• Must possess Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Preference will be given to the candidates with similar work experience.

5.Data Engineer (01 No.)
Upto PKR. 305,000/-
Minimum of sixteen (16) years of education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science or a related field from a well-reputed university.
25 – 50 years

Professional work/Experience:

• Minimum of five (05) years of experience in data engineering, data migration, data pipeline development, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in developing, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, data integration workflows, and automated data processing solutions.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, data modelling, data warehousing, and handling structured and semi-structured data.

• Experience of working on Linux based infrastructure.
• Excellent understanding of Ruby, Python, Perl, and Java.
• Configuration and managing databases such as MySQL, Mongo.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of various tools, Open-source technologies, and cloud services.
• Knowledge of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles.

7. Full Stack Developer (01 No.)

• Must possess 0-1 year of experience in full stack web development. Fresh graduates with strong academic, internship, or personal project experience may also be considered.

Professional work/Experience:

• Minimum of three (03) years of professional experience in survey design, social research, data collection.
• Strong experience in designing, developing, administering, and analyzing research-based surveys using digital platforms and data analytics tools.
• Experience in data collection, cleaning, analysis, interpretation, and visualization to generate meaningful insights for training programs, decision-making, and performance evaluation.
• Knowledge of research methodologies, sampling techniques, questionnaire design, statistical analysis, and data quality practices.
• Familiarity with digital survey platforms, data analysis tools, and AI-enabled research and analytics tools will be an advantage.

11 Manager (Finance & Procurement)

Professional work/Experience:

• Minimum of four (04) years of work experience in a similar role and must possess knowledge of project management / Planning / implementation & accounting.
• Must have hands-on experience with developing budgets, keeping track of various registers, financial reports and analysis.
• Must have hands-on experience of dealing with auditing processes for public sector organization.
• Must have hands-on experience of dealing with tax authorities within Punjab.
• Must possess knowledge of Public Sector procurement processes, rules and regulations i.e. PPA 2014.
• Must have hands on experience on dealing with Accountant General Punjab/Treasurer Office Punjab.
• Must possess strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Experience of working with law enforcement agency will be given preference.

12 Manager HR (Training & Analysis) (01 No.)

Professional work/Experience:

• Minimum of four (04) years of relevant experience in HR, training or similar field.
• Must possess experience of training and capacity enhancement.
• Must have strong experience with the staffing and recruitment process of a public sector organization.
• Experience of training needs assessment and research.
• Knowledge of Human Resources Management Information Systems (HRMIS).
• Must possess strong communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with HR policies and procedures.

13 Manager (Admin & Procurement Management) (01 No.)

Upto PKR. 225,000/-
Minimum of sixteen years (16) years of education in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Economics, Project Management, Human Resources, Engineering, Law or a related field from a well-reputed university.
25 – 45 years

Professional work/Experience:

• Minimum of five (05) years of relevant experience in administration, HR, procurement, or a related field.
• Experience in handling office administration, procurement processes, vendor management, and contract management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must have hands-on experience with administration and related functions.
• Experience of working with law enforcement agency will be given preference.

General Terms and Conditions: –

The above positions are being offered on Contract basis for the project (CA4I), of Special Branch, Punjab.
Age relaxation of candidates shall be applicable as per current policy of the Government of the Punjab.

Candidates having domicile of Punjab shall only be eligible to apply.
