Position: Head Financial Operations

Salary Level: Up to Vice President

Location: Islamabad

Job Summary

Ensure best financial discipline, for timely and accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance culture while discharging of daily tasks within Finance function. To lead a team of finance professionals and to ensure capacity building of each team member on equal opportunity theory basis for each member. Develop inter departmental synergies, where required.

Key Responsibilities

Ensuring company-wide best financial discipline. Preparing the short & long-term strategy in line with the Team Leads & managers. Ensuring implementation/execution of the agreed strategy. Ensuring a Controlled environment within and outside the Finance department. Ensuring Timely and accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders. Ensuring compliance with zero tolerance policy. Remain abreast with best industry practices and adopt them where required. Elimination of avoidable processes (process reduction with documentation). Ensuring the proper control over fixed assets recording and reporting. Ensuring that all taxes (Direct and Indirect) are deducted/deposited and reported in a timely manner. Effective segregation of duties to ensure smooth and swift information provision for all the stakeholders. Ensure that the deadlines/due dates are met as per commitment. Monitor and review the achievement of targets on a regular basis. Recommend corrective measures, as and when required.

Education Member of recognized body of Professional Accountants or Post Graduate Degree in Finance from recognized university or equivalent.

Experience 10 to 12 years of relevant work experience.
