Midas Safety is hiring an Analyst– Controlling & Reporting

We are looking for a detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to own the books, financial statements and statutory audits of the Group’s holding and offshore entities. The role sits within the Controlling & Shared Services function and reports to the Head of Controlling & Shared Services.
This role is scoped at an Deputy Manager level.

Location: Karachi, Pakistan

Requirements

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
2–3 years of post-qualification industry experience in accounting, controlling, or financial reporting
Sound knowledge of financial statement preparation, general-ledger accounting, and month-end/year-end close
Familiarity with statutory audit processes and IFRS / applicable reporting standards
Strong cost and expense analysis and reporting skills
Advanced Excel
Working knowledge of SAP or any other ERP system – will be working closely with SAP as part of this role
High attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical thinking
Good communication and coordination skills, including with external auditors Key Responsibilities
Maintain the books of the Group’s holding and offshore entities, ensuring all transactions and expenses are recorded accurately and on time.
Prepare the financial statements for these entities and ensure timely, accurate periodic reporting.
Drive the statutory audits of the offshore entities to completion — coordinating with external auditors and closing out queries.
Support cost controlling, reporting and optimization for the holding and offshore entities, including expense monitoring and cost-allocation reviews.
Maintain financial policies and manuals and ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
Develop and integrate business intelligence reports to strengthen financial management and decision-making.
Support the risk-management framework and internal controls for the businesses.
Ensure reconciliations and controls are performed on time and records remain audit-ready.
