WE ARE HIRING | Deputy Manager – Shipping

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end shipping and export logistics operations.
- Coordinate shipments, bookings, documentation, and dispatch schedules.
- Liaise with Production, Planning, Warehouse, Commercial, Sales, freight forwarders, shipping lines and clearing agents.
- Ensure regulatory and customs compliance.
- Track shipments, ETDs/ETAs and delivery status.
- Monitor shipping costs and identify optimization opportunities.
- Supervise the shipping team and improve processes through SOPs, automation and ERP utilization.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS: QUALIFICATION:
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Professional certification in Logistics/Supply Chain will be an added advantage.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Strong knowledge of export shipping and logistics operations.
- Knowledge of shipping documentation and customs procedures.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP/SAP or other logistics management systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments within deadlines.
EXPERIENCE:
- 7–8 years of relevant experience in shipping, export logistics, freight forwarding or commercial operations.
- Experience in the textile/manufacturing/export industry will be preferred.
- Prior supervisory or managerial experience is desirable.
