Ismail Industries Limited is seeking a results-oriented Area Sales Manager – Rural Business to drive sales growth, strengthen distribution networks, and expand market presence across rural territories through effective route-to-market strategies and market development.

Key Responsibilities:

– Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales volume and value targets while driving primary and secondary sales growth across the assigned zone.
– Develop and execute zonal sales plans to increase market share and identify new business opportunities in untapped rural markets.
– Strengthen distribution infrastructure by developing new distributors, hub-spoke locations, and rural coverage points to expand market reach.
– Develop and implement Route-to-Market (RTM) strategies for underserved rural areas, optimizing route productivity, distribution costs, and market coverage.
– Monitor stock availability and inventory levels while ensuring efficient last-mile delivery and timely market servicing.
– Identify intelligent assortment opportunities aligned with rural consumer needs and market potential.
– Lead, coach, and monitor ASMs, TSMs, DSRs, and distributor sales teams to drive performance and ensure adherence to company SOPs and sales processes.
– Monitor claims, trade investments, and market development expenditures to ensure effective utilization and compliance.
– Prepare sales forecasts and demand projections based on business requirements.
– Present monthly business reviews and develop action plans to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration
– 6–10 years of relevant FMCG sales experience, including 3–5 years in a supervisory role managing rural sales operations
– Strong understanding of distribution management, Route-to-Market (RTM), and rural channel development
