Independent Urdu is looking for a dynamic and experienced Online Producer to join the editorial team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily editorial operations and manage newsroom workflows
- Edit, copy-edit, and publish high-quality news content in Urdu
- Assign and coordinate stories with reporters/correspondents
- Monitor breaking news, political, and social developments
- Ensure content adheres to editorial, legal, and ethical standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field
- At least 3-5 years of experience in digital journalism and newsroom operations
- Excellent editing, writing, and translation skills
- Experience with video production and editing
- Strong command of spoken and written Urdu and English
