Daraz Pakistan Jobs Data Engineers: We are looking for Data Engineers at Daraz in our Operations department.
What you’ll be doing ?
- As Data Engineer, you will develop accurate, robust and scalable data-processing pipelines required for optimal extraction from different source systems, transformation according to business needs.
- You will understand and work with a wide variety of State-of-the-art Alibaba E-Commerce systems and fulfill business needs for a variety of stakeholders.
- You will use HiveQL, Python and ETL methodologies to work on Alibaba big data cloud platform to build and maintain optimal data architecture.
- You will work in an agile environment within the BI team comprising of extremely talented young people and will need to solve complex data problems on day to day basis.
Requirements:
- A good understanding of database architecture and querying using SQL/HiveQL, with a minimum 1 year’s post-university experience
- Programming experience using any language such as Python, Java etc.
- Enthusiasm for innovation with a proven track record of researching and identifying optimum tools and methods for solving complex data problems.
- Ability to quickly understand business requirements and transform them into data models.​
