The incumbent will be responsible for all:
– Correspondence in Inland Revenue Department (RTO/LTU)
– All Direct & Indirect Taxation Matters
– Compliance with Income Tax Ordinance, 2001. Sales Tax Act, 1990. Sindh Sales Tax on Services Act, 2011
-Review of the notice(s) / order(s) issued by tax authorities and suggesting future course of action
-Review of audit observation / show cause notice issued to the company as a result of audit or otherwise and attending the hearing in office of the authority
– Preparing, filing and contesting appeals before the Commissioner Appeals (CIR-A), Federal Tax Ombudsman, Inland Revenue Appellate Tribunal, and Reference to the High Court regarding Question of Law
– Preparation of Annul Return u/s 114 of Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 (“ITO,2001”) (Individual and companies)
-Audit Proceeding of Income Tax u/s 177 of Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 (“ITO,2001”)
-Audit Proceeding of Sales Tax from FBR & SRB
-Monitoring of WHT Tax u/s 176 of Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 (“ITO,2001”)
