Universal Packaging Company (Pvt.) Limited is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager QA/QC to join our quality team in Karachi.
If you have 3-4 years of experience in a regulated industry with strong knowledge of ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, Halal, and SMETA standards.
JOB DESCRIPTION: We require an experienced Assistant Manager QA/QC to join the UPCO quality team, ensuring our products, processes, and systems consistently meet international compliance, regulatory, and certification standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for monitoring and Verification of QA/QC activities and procedures in all production departments. i-e incoming to finish goods.
- Monitoring of different audits i.e. ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HALAL Audit, SMETA Audit.
- Monitoring of customer quality compliance related audits.
- Monitoring the internal and external trials and developments.
- Organizing internal and external trainings.
REQUIREMENTS
- BE Polymer / BSc in Quality Management or related field.
- 3–4 years of experience in a regulated industry with exposure to multiple standards.
- Familiarity with quality assurance software and inspection techniques.
- Proficiency in risk management and discrepancy evaluation.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Result-driven approach with excellent knowledge of industry methods.
