Position: Management Trainee Officer (MTO) – Finance
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
- Support preparation of financial statements, management reports and financial analysis.
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations and general ledger activities.
- Maintain accurate financial records, vouchers and supporting documentation.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Assist with tax, regulatory and statutory compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments on finance-related matters.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing required records and documentation.
- Analyze financial data and assist in preparing reports for management decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards and applicable regulations.
- Perform other finance-related responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
Qualification & Skills
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience.
- Good command of MS Office.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and build a career in Finance.
