WE’RE HIRING Officer – Accounts Payable
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Officer to manage end-to-end vendor invoice processing, payments, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in invoice verification, PO/GRN matching, and close coordination with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process a perform 2-way and 3-way matching between invoices, purchase orders, and GRNs
- Ensure accurate application of applicable taxes, including Sales Tax, SST, and WHT, in accordance with statutory requirements
- Prepare and maintain vendor reconciliations; investigate and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and finance teams to address invoice-related issues
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation, both digital and physical, for audit and record-keeping purposes
- Support month-end closing activities, including AP aging and reporting
- nd verify supplier invoices through ERP / Accounts Payable systems
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and audit requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in an Accounts Payable role
- Sound knowledge of indirect taxation, including Sales Tax, SST, and WHT
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and strong proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively manage vendor interactions
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines
