HOPSCOTCH® a kidswear brand operating since 2014, having a presence in the major cities of Pakistan, is looking for a “Head of Accounts & Finance” to join its Finance team.
Location: Gulberg, Lahore
Responsibilities:
· Oversee daily accounting and finance operations, including AP/AR, general ledger, and payroll.
· Prepare financial statements, cash flow forecasts, and budgets.
· Develop and enforce financial policies and internal controls for compliance.
· Provide financial analysis to support pricing, inventory, and capital decisions.
· Collaborate with departments to align financial strategies with company goals.
· Manage relationships with stakeholders such as investors, banks, auditors, and tax authorities.
· Mentor and develop the accounting and finance team for optimal performance.
· Supervise month/quarter-end financial close processes.
· Ensure compliance during audits and liaise with auditors.
· Lead SAP-B1 implementation.
Eligibility:
· Member of a renowned accountancy body including ACCA, ACMA or ACA
· 7-10 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in the retail industry
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations, including IFRS and GAAP
· Expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and modeling.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
· Proven leadership and team development abilities.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills
· Experience with accounting software.
