Key Responsibilities:
Add/Remove Vehicle Trackers: Ensure the installation of vehicle trackers on new or existing fleet vehicles by working with the third-party tracking company or distributor.
Regularly check that all vehicle trackers are functioning properly and report any discrepancies or issues to the relevant service providers.Keep detailed records of which vehicles are equipped with trackers, their IDs, and relevant details (e.g., model, serial number).
Address technical issues with vehicle trackers by coordinating with the tracking provider or technical support team for repairs or replacements.Third-Party Coordination:Act as the main point of contact between the company and third-party vendors or service providers involved in the installation, maintenance, or management of vehicle tracking systems.Oversee contracts, service-level agreements (SLAs), and ensure timely renewals with tracking service providers.Ensure smooth communication between the company and third-party vendors to resolve any service issues, schedule installations, and handle maintenance requests.
Monitor the performance and quality of service provided by third-party vendors, including tracking uptime and response times.Coordinate with Distributors: Work closely with distributors to ensure timely delivery and installation of vehicle tracking systems and other relevant equipment.Keep track of inventory levels of vehicle trackers and related equipment, ensuring that necessary supplies are always available.Coordinate shipments, ensure proper delivery schedules are followed, and assist with logistics when new vehicle trackers or equipment need to be sent to different locations or branches.Address any issues with distributors, such as delivery delays, product discrepancies, or installation challenges.Generate Reports: Create regular reports on fleet movements, vehicle usage, and tracker performance, and share them with management.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.Proficiency in Excel:
Knowledge of Excel for maintaining records, generating reports, and managing data (see Excel functions mentioned in the previous response).
