Job Description:
- Performing inspections of equipment to ensure that it is in good working order and that safety precautions are being followed
- Evaluating possible causes of machinery failures and taking corrective action where needed
- Coach jobs, counsel on career and develop team members.
- Develop needed infrastructure to ensure Mechanical Engineering Competency.
- Ensure that logbooks for plants and machinery are properly maintained.
- Ensure availability of sufficient stock of necessary spare parts required by machines.
- Helping to develop a maintenance plan for equipment to ensure that it stays in good working condition over time
- Scheduling maintenance activities to ensure that machinery is in good working
