Power Cement Limited Jobs HOD Production:
We are looking for the right talent to take up the challenge of HOD Production position. This position is Factory based and reports to Senior General Manager Operations.
Qualification: Chemical Engineer
Experience: 15-20 years of experience in the cement industry (minimum 05 years of experience in the same capacity)
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the fulfillment of obligations for compliance of HSE at a workplace with the required frequency of monitoring and reporting under Investment Agreements with Lenders and requirements of Regulatory Authority related with Cement Industries
- Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product quality, safety or integrity
- Coordinate with quarry, quality control, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation departments to produce the desired quality products with optimum value chain.
- Explore the usage of alternate fuels and alternate raw materials to promote their usage in manufacturing for optimizing the production cost.
- Coordinate with maintenance Departments to improve the reliability of the equipment as well as to identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the process
- Budget annual production costs, provide monthly forecasting and keep close track of related expenses.
- Monitor raw materials/fuels consumption, current inventory levels and work closely with finance for month closing.
- Daily interaction/communication with sales and logistics departments, to coordinate inventory, production schedule, shipping forecasts and ensure proper customer service.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability and proven track record of leading for change.
- Attitude to Own & Take responsibility for all actions/ initiatives
- Proficient in problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively perform, organize and prioritize work independently
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word Power Point, CMMS and MS Projects.
