Position: Assistant Manager – Financial Planning and Budgeting
Location: Karachi
Employment Type: Permanent
Department: Finance
Qualification: CMA / CA / ACCA professional qualification or MBA Finance
Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in FMCG

Roles & Responsibilities:

To ensure collection of operational and expenditures data from all department entity wise and validation as per trend & outliner with justification for new and existing activities at department and entity level.
To ensure capital expenditure budgeting and compilation for Business Cases, Preparation and verification for Financial Feasibilities, partnering with departments for timelines.
To prepare annual budget with monthly phasing in BPC module (SAP) .To identify and review any errors in BPC module for of operational and capital expenditure.
To review monthly and quarterly budgeted status, and conducts variance analysis for differences between actual and budgeted figures; Identifies reasons for variance between actual and budgeted figures and reporting.
To maintain FM Module (SAP), Availability, Transfer of Fund to control Revex & Capex of organization with approved Budget, Troubleshooting pertaining to PR/PO for Fixed cost.
To prepare monthly management reports conveying financial implications of business decisions and performance. This includes Profit & Loss Statement entity & Group wise, Statement of Financial Position, Domestic & export brand profitability reports, Operational/Fixed cost dashboard report and compilation of Sale mix variance and production report in liaison with finance Business Partners.
To create visibility of Full Year Factory cost including all Variable cost like HLP, Direct Labour, Indirect Labour, and Fixed cost like Depreciation, Maintenance and other associated cost and spread the cost on monthly basis based on the production plan.
To ensure actual vs budget / forecast variance explanation for all elements of Production cost with detail explanation at department level.
To analyze efficiencies / inefficiencies in different production cost heads like Direct Labor, HLP, Material and do proper reporting and updation of standards in SAP.
To calculate standard costs for existing products; To review actual costs of existing products and conducts a variance analysis between standard and actual product costs for existing products and identifies reasons for variance and implements controls.
To prepare monthly SKU wise & Brand Wise “Profitability Analysis” on contribution and net product contribution margin level for domestic and export channel, reasoning actual and budget variance and reconciliation with financial reported figures with COPA reports.
