PEL is looking for a Imports & Logistics Officer for its Head Office Lahore. Incumbent must have done an MBA along with the relevant experience of 3 to 5 years (preferably someone from appliances industry).

Job Responsibilities:

To ensure collection of documents from the bank and arrange delivery of documents to the nominated agent.
To Liaison with clearing agents for GD filing instruction according to correct PCT and SROs benefit for smooth clearance.
To arrange and send a request to finance after verification of duty demand and PDC for pay order arrangement.
To ensure collection and delivery of pay order at LDP/LAP and KHI.
Effective follow-ups with clearing agent for timely release of shipment.
To liaison with transporter for delivery status.
To send arrival memos /notices to stores as well as concerned departments for timely arrangement and get
acknowledgment against the smooth delivery of goods.
Coordinating with insurance companies for timely arrangement transit insurance and 100% recovery of claims.
To maintain report against claims and their refund status.
