We are Hiring for the Position of Assistant Manager, Product Development (CEG).
Responsibilities include:
- Feasibility study, in-house estimations and pursuing vendors for timely development.
- Providing technical support to vendors for the local development of components.
- Ensuring timely incorporation of latest modification of technical information provided to local vendors.
- To highlight problems, weak area of vendors and suggest countermeasures in consultation with section in-charge (SQAM audits).
- Support manufacturing and quality in the area of quality problems related to local parts.
- Comprehension of Toyota Engineering standards and technical drawings and guide vendors to understand them.

Responsibilities include:
- Assist in Product planning activities.
- Monitoring & follow ups of quotation invitation & receipt from local vendors.
- To assist in the selection of candidate parts in view of existing Government regulations.
- Ensuring timely ordering of sample/ V-V parts for the localization purpose after Management approval.
- Providing technical documentation support to Component Engineering Groups for the local development of components.
- Scheduling and monitoring localization activities.
- Performing cost analysis of local parts.
