The Assistant Manager – Admissions, Outreach & Marketing will be responsible for overseeing and executing the admission process for all academic programs. The role will also involve planning and implementing outreach and marketing activities to promote the institution’s programs, enhance visibility, and attract quality applicants.
ASSISTANT MANAGER – ADMISSIONS, OUTREACH & MARKETING
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Oversee end-to-end admission processes including inquiries, applications, entrance tests, interviews, and enrollment. • Ensure timely and accurate processing of admission applications in line with institutional policies. • Provide guidance and counseling to prospective students and parents regarding program offerings, admission criteria, and career pathways. • Develop admission reports, statistics, and forecasts for management review. • Ensure compliance with admission policies, academic regulations, and quality standards.
OUTREACH & MARKETING • Assist in planning and executing outreach campaigns to schools, colleges, and communities to increase awareness of academic programs. • Support in organizing open houses, admission fairs, seminars, and promotional events. • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content for brochures, digital campaigns, and social media to promote admissions. • Build and maintain relationships with educational consultants, partner institutions, and stakeholders. • Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and suggest improvements in outreach activities.
COORDINATION & SUPPORT • Work closely with academic departments to understand program strengths and communicate them effectively to prospective applicants. • Coordinate with the marketing and communications team to ensure consistent branding and messaging. • Provide training and guidance to admission officers/executive staff under supervision. • Address student/parent queries promptly to ensure a positive admission experience.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS • Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Education Management, or related field. • 3-5 years of experience in admissions, marketing, or student outreach (preferably in the education sector). • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively. • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with CRM/admission management systems. • Knowledge of digital and social media marketing will be an advantage.
