DIRECTORATE GENERAL (WILDLIFE & PARKS)

SITUATION VACANT: Applications are invited from suitable candidates having domicile of Punjab Province to fill the following project-based posts under the Development Project “Revamping & Experience Development of Bahawalpur Zoo” purely on a contract basis till Gestation Period of the Project i.e. 30.06.2027.

1. IT Support Specialist

Scale: PPS 07
No. of Post: 1
Max Age Limit: 40 Years
Qualification and Experience:
- Minimum 16 years’ education from a HEC recognized university in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Project Management / Software Engineering / IT / Business Administration / Social Sciences or related field.
- At least 2 years’ post qualification experience in related field.

2. Zoo Supervisor

Scale: PPS 05
No. of Post: 5
Max Age Limit: 35 Years
Qualification and Experience:
- Minimum 16 years’ education from a HEC recognized university in Zoology, Wildlife Management, Ecology or related field.
- At least 2 years’ post qualification experience in related field.

3. Assistant Veterinarian

Scale: PPS 05
No. of Post: 4
Max Age Limit: 35 Years
Qualification and Experience:
- Minimum Secondary School (second division) (science subjects) from a recognized Board; and 2 years’ diploma of Veterinary Assistant or Livestock Assistant from a recognized Institute.
- At least 2 years’ relevant post qualification experience.

4. Hatchery operator

Scale: PPS 02
No. of Post: 2
Max Age Limit: 40 Years
Qualification and Experience:
- Matriculation with Science with 2 years’ experience in maintenance of Hatchery.

5. Animal Keeper

Scale: PPS 02
No. of Post: 10
Max Age Limit: 30 Years
Qualification and Experience:
- Middle.
- At least 1-year relevant experience.

Terms & Conditions / Instructions:

Applications along with attested copies of CNIC, Domicile, Educational & Experience Certificates and one recent passport size photograph must reach in the office of “Project Director – Revamping & Experience Development of Bahawalpur Zoo, Directorate General, Wildlife & Parks, Punjab 2-Sanda Road, Lahore till 04.09.2026 through post / courier service. Hand-delivered applications shall not be entertained.
Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate applications for each post.
Government / Semi-Government employees must apply through proper channel along with NOC from the competent authority.
The positions are Bahawalpur based and competent authority reserves the right to utilize the services on all Punjab Basis.
The positions are offered on contract basis, extendable subject to satisfactory performance.
Recruitment / appointment shall be made in accordance with the relevant rules / policy till Gestation period of the Project.
After detailed scrutiny of applications, only shortlisted candidates shall be invited for test / interview via Letter / SMS / Call. No T.A. / D.A. shall be admissible for test / interview.
Candidates shall be required to produce National Identity Card, Domicile Certificate, Transcripts / Certificates / Degrees of Educational Qualifications, Experience Certificates etc. in original at the time of interview.
The Department reserves the right to increase / decrease the number of posts or not to fill any / all vacancies without any reason.
Test / interviews can be cancelled at any time. In case of local holiday, the new date will be communicated afresh.
