Position: Executive BSS
Location: Islamabad, Head Office

Role Summary:
Purpose of the job:DevOps Engineer for Development & Support of B/OSS (Business & Operational Support Systems) related components and applications which are core for running operations in telecom sector. Operational support on a routine basis, Help Development, Documentation, Integration, Cloud management for Voice/Data applications & services

Regular Duties:

Development of B/OSS (Business & Operational Support Systems) related components and applications i.e. Billing, ERP, CRM systems
Development of cloud formation templates in Dockers to build & deploy Micro-services that support our custom Java applications
Help automate and streamline our operations and processes
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, test and production environments.

Desired Skills and Experience:

At least 2 years of relevant work experience
Strong Experience in Java/J2EE
Hands on in REST/SOAP and Micro-services Architecture
Strong understanding of Linux administration should be able to do deployments
Strong Experience with SQL and MySQL (NoSQL experience is a plus, too)
Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services for example Dockers/Kubernetes and other orchestration tools
Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
Attention to detail and research oriented mindset with ability to devise technical solutions
