Assistant Manager Yarn Sourcing
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering or related field (Masters in Supply Chain preferred).
· Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of Experience in Yarn Sourcing / Yarn Production Planning.
· Strong knowledge of Yarn & Weaving processes and Quality specifications required for Denim Fabric.
Responsibilities:
. Negotiate favorable contracts with yarn suppliers, focusing on price, quality & delivery terms to ensure cost-effective sourcing.
. Develop and maintain long-term business relationships with existing suppliers, assess new potential suppliers for optimal sourcing aligned with customer requirements.
. Introduce new fibers and yarns to stay ahead of the trends and meet customer demands.
. Work closely with Marketing, PPC, Store, logistics & Quality departments to ensure optimal inventory levels & on time fabric delivery.
. Champion environmental sustainability by promoting the use of eco-friendly yarns & fibers & ensure suppliers adhere to Scope-3 GHG & relevant sustainability standards.
