The City School Jobs Senior Master/Mistress:
The City School is looking to fill out the position of Senior Master/Mistress at the Gujrat Campus.
Responsibilities:
- To commit to leadership for the successful implementation of the School Improvement Plan.
- Be responsible for all aspects of the school’s academic provision, including its curriculum, planning, development, delivery, assessment and monitoring.
- Be responsible for the school’s academic administration, including timetabling, resources, parental liaison, staff training and liaison with external agencies.
- Take overall responsibility for curriculum planning and implementation, liaising as appropriate with the Headmaster and Heads of School.
- Monitor the work of individual staff in ensuring that the curriculum is delivered effectively and appropriately to all pupils, taking appropriate corrective action as necessary.
- Track the progress of individuals, classes and year groups as they progress through the school and provide feedback to the Headmaster, Vice Principal and Principal.
- Analyze data, in liaison with the Heads of Departments and sections, to raise standards and address any issues of underperformance.
- Regularly sample pupil work and conduct pupil surveys in order to monitor the performance of individual colleagues and departments.
- Ensure TCS policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are followed at all times.
- Perform other duties as requested by direct & dotted reporting line managers/supervisors.
