We Are Hiring: Transport In-Charge / Coordinator

South City Hospital, Karachi, Pakistan. We are looking for a responsible, organized, and experienced Transport In-Charge / Coordinator to manage and coordinate the organization’s transportation operations, ensuring safe, timely, and efficient transport services for staff and official requirements.

JOB TITLE: TRANSPORT IN-CHARGE / COORDINATOR

DEPARTMENT: TRANSPORTATION LOCATION: KARACHI DUTY HOURS: 12 HOURS TIMINGS: 9 AM TO 9 PM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Coordinate and supervise daily transport operations and schedules. • Manage staff transport routes, pick-and-drop services, and vehicle allocation. • Coordinate with drivers and ensure timely reporting and departure. • Monitor vehicle availability, maintenance, fuel consumption, and documentation. • Maintain daily transport records, logbooks, and attendance. • Handle transport-related complaints and resolve operational issues promptly. • Ensure vehicles are properly maintained, clean, and roadworthy. • Monitor driver performance and compliance with organizational policies. • Prepare transport schedules and coordinate changes as required. • Liaise with different departments regarding transportation requirements. • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and transport regulations. • Perform any other transport-related duties assigned by management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification preferred. • 2-3 years of relevant experience in transport coordination, administration, logistics, or a similar role. • Strong communication and coordination skills. • Good knowledge of local routes and transportation operations. • Ability to manage drivers and handle multiple tasks efficiently. • Good computer skills, particularly MS Office. • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities. • A valid driving license will be an added advantage.
