JOB OPPORTUNITY: SMEDA is a statutory body working under the Ministry of Industries and Production, responsible for the growth and development of Small and Medium Enterprises. SMEDA has its Head Office in Lahore and Regional Offices in Lahore, Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar and 20 Regional Business Centers nationwide. We are focused on providing services to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Pakistan.

Business Skills Development Centre (BSDC) for Women at D.I. Khan is a Project of SMEDA mandated to provide business development and support services to the women entrepreneurs of D.I. Khan and adjoining areas.

Currently, we are looking for an intelligent and motivated individual for the following position:

Project Manager, BSDCW (PPS-8)
Location: D.I. Khan
No. of Positions: 1
Age: 27-40 years
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
Education: Master’s/Bachelor’s degree (minimum sixteen years of education) in Business Management, Economics, Marketing, HR, Public Administration, Public Policy, Engineering, Finance, Accounts, Law from a reputable foreign or local HEC recognized institute/university.

Major Job Responsibilities:

Overall management of the Project to achieve timely results in accordance with requirements of PC-1, Project Manual for PSDP funded projects, and instructions/guidelines of Planning Commission, Project Director and SMEDA Head Office.
Ensure completion of project facility.
Ensure the effective and efficient use of all resources.
Liaise with cluster associations and relevant stakeholders for the timely implementation of the Project to achieve the anticipated objectives.
Manage the project team and all project activities Overall monitoring of the Project to achieve targets.
Designing and development of SME programs and projects to seek funding from donor agencies.

The position of Project Manager is contract-based. Project pay scale (PPS-08) will be offered to the suitable candidate along with excellent working environment.
