Job Title: Accounts Officer

Location: Head Office Lahore

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Record and maintain all accounting transactions in the accounting system, including:
- Bank payments and receipts
- Cash payments and receipts
- Journal entries
- General ledger postings
Process and prepare payments to external vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
Coordinate and execute intercompany fund transfers and related accounting entries.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations for local and foreign currency bank accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
Conduct monthly intercompany reconciliations to ensure accuracy of balances and transactions.
Maintain accounting records, schedules, and supporting documentation in line with company policies and audit requirements.
Assist in preparing periodic financial reports, analyses, and management reports as required.
Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial data while maintaining compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
Support the finance team in month-end closing activities and other accounting functions.
Perform any other duties assigned by management related to finance and accounting operations.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, BBA (Finance), or a related field.
1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance operations.
Exposure to SAP is mandatory; experience with other accounting software/ERP systems will be an added advantage.
Understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and financial controls.
Experience in bank reconciliations, vendor payments, and general accounting activities.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
