CAREER OPPORTUNITIES: Power Planning & Monitoring Company (PPMC) is mandated to provide policy and technical support to Ministry of Energy (Power Division), integrated planning of the Power Sector of Pakistan, development and implementation of strategic plans for power sector, and to administer, monitor and evaluate performance of Power Sector Entities under the approved policies/plans.

The Company is seeking applications for the following position from the eligible persons, who can perform the tasks assigned under the thematic areas of the company. The first 03 months shall be on probation and thereafter shall be regularized, as per company policy. The candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, outstanding problem solving skills and ability to exercise sound judgment based on accurate and timely analysis, outstanding communication, minute writing, analytical & problem-solving skills are pre-requisite. Ideal candidate should have ability to prioritize work well under pressure. Integrity and maturity should be an essential attribute when handling confidential company information. The Plan Implementation Unit (PIU) may opt for secondment subject to selection on open competition and subsequent approval by competent forum.

Team Lead (Digital Transformation)

Provide strategic direction and leadership to the IT team, leveraging business insights and transformation expertise to align technology initiatives with organizational goals.
Build and nurture a high-performing IT team that excels in delivering innovative solutions and supports continuous professional growth.
Oversee the lifecycle of IT solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs, user-centric design, and emerging market trends.
Drive the organization’s business automation and digital transformation strategy, enhancing operational efficiency, process optimization, and customer engagement.

Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, customization, and seamless integration of ERP systems with core business processes to optimize efficiency and data integrity.
Ensure the stability, scalability, and reliability of the organization’s IT infrastructure.
Develop, implement, and manage cybersecurity frameworks to protect IT assets and sensitive data.
Establish and maintain IT policies and governance frameworks to support technology-driven business transformation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address technology needs across the organization.
Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to meet organizational priorities.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities (SKA):

Bachelors (16-years Education) or Master’s in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Business Administration or related field from HEC recognized/affiliated institute/university.
Relevant trainings/certifications will be an advantage.
The candidate possessing the followings:

Experience in leading IT initiatives focused on business automation, transformation, and process optimization.
Experience in Digital inclusions, ERP implementation, products development and accessibility strategies
Proven track record of managing IT teams and delivering large-scale IT projects that drive measurable business outcomes.

Remuneration & Age:

The selected candidate will be offered a market-based, competitive remuneration package, commensurate with their skills and experience.
Upto 45 years on the closing date of advertisement. No age relaxation is allowed.
