Applications are invited from suitable candidates on prescribed form, which can be downloaded from PGMI official website (http://www.pgmi.edu.pk) / can also be obtained from the office of the Chief Executive Officer Postgraduate Medical Institute, Hayatabad, Phase-IV, Peshawar on any working day, for filling of the following posts. Last date for form submission is 27-08-2024 positively.

Asst Professor Medical Education

Age Limit: Up to 45 years
Scale/Grade: BPS-18
Qualification:
(a) MBBS/BDS or equivalent Degree from recognized University or recognized by PMDC.
(b) Master in Health Professional Education (MHPE)/MCPS-HPE (Health Professional Education).
Experience: Minimum 03 years’ experience in Medical Education from recognized institution/by PMDC.
Publication: Two research articles as principal author (1st only) published in recognized Medical Journal approved by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council/HEC shall be acceptable.
Key Role: The incumbent of the job will be on rotation to all the affiliated institutes of PGMI across the province for monitoring & evaluation of research & academics activities of postgraduate Residents.

Manager Simulation Lab

Age Limit: Up to 45 years
Scale/Grade: BPS-18
Qualification:
(a) MBBS/BS Nursing/BE Biomedical Engineering/BS in Paramedical Sciences.
OR
(b) Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) from HEC Recognized University.
Experience: Candidate must have 03 years post-qualification experience in Simulation Lab.

Biomedical Engineer

Age Limit: Up to 35 years
Scale/Grade: BPS-17
Qualification:
(a) BSc/BE Electronics/Bio Medical Engineering from HEC recognized University/Institute.
Experience: Candidate must have 02 years’ experience in the reputed public/private Hospital.
Note: Must have the basic skill in computer use & good communication skills & fluent in English language.

Assistant Programmer

Age Limit: Up to 35 years
Scale/Grade: BPS-16
Qualification:
(a) BCS/BS Computer Sciences/Information Technology or Equivalent Degree from HEC Recognized University.
Experience: 02 years’ experience in Software/Web Development in a reputed organization.
Other: Must have experience in Software/Web development frameworks like ASP.Net (MVC, Core), WordPress, Bootstrap, Material UI, CSS (Less or Sass), Latest JavaScript frameworks, including back-end technologies like PHP, C-Sharp, ASP.Net, and must have strong knowledge of database development (SQL Server, MYSQL, Oracle).
Note: Preference will be given to candidates having working knowledge of ASP.Net frameworks.

Terms & Conditions

Receipt of the processing fee worth Rs. 1000/- (non-refundable), duly deposited in MCB A/C No. 065319511004179 in favor of the Chief Executive Officer Postgraduate Medical Institute, Peshawar.
Applications accompanied with complete bio-data and academic/experience/domicile certificates along with 02 recent photographs and CNIC photocopy duly attested must reach the office of the Chief Executive Officer Postgraduate Medical Institute, Hayatabad, Phase-IV-Peshawar on or before 27-08-2024 on a prescribed form.
Experience Marks will be given to only those candidates who have documentary proof of experience in relevant subject/field. Experience mentioned in the application form without supporting documents will not be considered.
Applications received after the closing date and incomplete applications will not be entertained.
All experience will be counted after the requisite academic degrees, certificates have been received.
Equivalence certificate from HEC Pakistan to be provided in case of foreign qualifications. In-progress qualifications/certificates or programs will not be considered.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Shortlisting will be done by pre-interview marks or written test or both, if required.
An application after the closing time and date shall stand rejected.
All recruitment will be done on merit basis. Therefore, any attempt to influence the process will make the candidate liable for rejection from the selection process.
Any Civil Servant if selected shall resign from civil service.
Age of Superannuation applicable to all posts is 60 years as per Government rules.
The Scrutiny Committee shall be competent to reject applications which are incomplete. However, the aggrieved candidates can appeal to the competent forum of PGMI (Executive Council) for review. The decision of the competent forum thereof shall be final.
Any candidate may be disqualified or excluded from interview if he/she was:
a) Convicted by the court of law.
b) Dismissed from public service.
c) Knowingly furnishes any false information.
d) Suppresses any information which may lead to his/her disqualification.
e) Attempts to obtain support for his/her candidature by improper means.
f) Submits forged certificates.
g) Tempers with the entries in his/her age and academic certificates etc.
h) Misbehaves in the interview.
Original documents should be produced at the time of interview.
No TA/DA allowed for Test/Interview.
The Competent Authority has the right to increase or decrease or even revoke the number of vacancies.
Only shortlisted candidates shall be called for an interview.
